Java Developer

As a Java Developer in FLASHNET, you will be designing software for Smart City and Smart Energy applications. Starting with software architecture assessment, your main responsibilities will include developing code modules using integrated development environment, creating software specifications and documentation, creating the software testing plan and also configuring, testing and modifying existing applications. • At least 1 year of experience working with modern Java frameworks and open source tools
• At least 3 years of experience in software development
• Fluency in oral and written English
• Some level of interest in IoT and M2M related technologies
• Working experience with versioning systems as SVN or git
• Good understanding of relational databases
• Experience with complex software architectures

• UNIX/Mac OS/Linux terminal and shell scripting
• Active GitHub and/or Stackoverflow account
• Hands on experience with Postgresql , Vaadin framework
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, javascript (jQuery)
• Good understanding of communication protocols.
• University degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer science or similar area
