We are looking for a Java Developer to join our teambased in our Cluj-Napoca Office. We are seeking a highly-skilled, experienced Java Developer to join our expanding technology team. In this role, you will develop and design technology solutions that are scalable, relevant, and critical to our company’s success.

You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications.Java developer roles and responsibilities include managing Java/Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.

Your Contribution

Design and implement essential applications and scalable,
lasting technology
solutions
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
Review current systems, suggesting updates as needed
Write well designed, testable, efficient code
Gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders
Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
Test and debug new applications and updates
Prepare and produce releases of software components
Identify potential challenges and bottlenecks in order
to address them proactively
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives
and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
Resolve reported issues and reply to queries in a
timely manner
Develop and utilize technical change documentation
Remain up-to-date on all current best practices, trends, and industry
developments
Help junior team members grow and develop their skills

What Should Recommend You

Proven hands-on Software Development experience
Proven working experience in Java development
2+ years of experience in the IT field, preferably in a corporate setting
Solid working knowledge of Java or J2EE technologies
Familiarity with JIRA is a plus
Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
Profound insight of Java or JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
Experience in the Spring Framework
Experience as a Sun Certified Java Developer
Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
Experience with test-driven development
